A Charitable Mission to Haiti

High Waisted Shorts - Wie kombinieren? (high waisted, shorts, hm ...A group of young people from the Pentecostal church arrived in Haiti each of them in high waisted shorts ready to distribute necessities. The group had planned a two week stay in the earthquake torn country. They intended to make a change and leave the country better than they found it. They wore the high waisted shorts to avoid a lot of wetting by the stagnant water in most of the areas.

They divided themselves into three groups. The first group was to distribute food and clean drinking water to the selected areas. The second group was supposed to distribute blankets and fuel in other parts of the country. The third group was assigned to rescue any children that could be left out in the cold unattended. By the end of the mission, the group was able to share their experiences with the rest of the church back at home. This triggered a need for other similar mission in the church.

New Clothes for Me

Since the colder weather is settling in, I feel like finding womens sweaters for the new season is going to be a great thing for me to do. I lost some weight over the past few months, and I am definitely hoping to put this to good use. Sometimes I just feel like there are too many things waiting to happen around here! I never felt like throwing away my old clothes, but I do now. I thought that this would be something that I would never get a chance to do because losing the weight was really hard, but when it comes down to it, it was really worth the wait. I am pretty happy to be telling people my experience. They are always impressed with it! I know that some people are just going to be very inspired by my story, and I cannot wait to see how my story had an effect on them.

Children’s Designer Clothes for a Birthday Party

My 8 year old daughter and I are so close. We do everything together; we are like best friends. One day she told me that she would be attending her friend’s birthday party and that party has a theme and that everyone should be in their”coolest”party attire. But knowing my daughter she is a typically simple t-shirt and pants girl, so I know that she was telling me this because she had nothing to wear. So we went to the mall and looked for a cool outfit. We went to the mall’s childrens designer clothes section and we looked for the perfect attire for my daughter. We saw this simple yet pretty dress and I asked my daughter to try it on it was really cool, and it looked perfect on her. We bought it and my daughter thanked me. After the party, she said that her friends told her that she looked very pretty in her dress; she told them that her mom had picked and bought it for her.

I want to buy my wife a gift. I am not quite sure what to get her but I wanted to be something that she will enjoy. If I spend money and bought her a diamond ring or gold necklace or a dozen roses, she would just get mad that I wasted money on something at her eyes is not practical.
