However, the spider mites create little silk webs that may be easy to detect without a magnifying glass. Once I discovered what the problem was, I was discouraged to learn that getting rid of them is not an easy process. Many insecticides aren’t very effective and may even make the problem worse. Since I was able to detect the spider mites early, getting rid of them was an easier task than I had anticipated.
