Tony Horton the well known fitness guru who has helped many famous people keep their body shapes and lose weight created a course known as P90x. You can read my full P90x review here. This is a program for slightly fit people and if you are thinking about getting P90x as an unfit person then I would advise against it as the program is extreme.
When your P90x package arrives you will see that is consists mainly of training DVD’s. You can choose to follow the course in three different fitness levels from beginner to extreme. All you need to do is follow the workout routines that are shown on screen and this is how the course runs. To complete the course you will need to put and hour or more in each day and make sure that you do it for 6 days a week. This is quite a commitment so you need to be prepared before you start.
A diet plan is also included with the P90x package and this is divided into three sections that cover 30 day segments. Each 30 days you will move on to the next eating plan and so on.
In order to properly attempt P90x you will need some other supplies such as resistance bands, weight dumbbells and some form of device to enable you to perform chin ups. I would recommend buying decent equipment when you do as this will help you to prevent injuries.
P90x also has some recommend supplements that you take for the duration of the course but these are optional and available from the P90x website.
If you can follow and complete this course you will find a massive improvement whether it is muscle toning or weight loss you wish for. Just remember it will take a lot of effort and commitment to complete. For a more detailed review check out my weight training site.
